Weekend trip Paris

Still no laptop. I went to Paris a couple of weekends ago for a long weekend. I only went with my compact and iPhone I heard it was going to be wet so I didn't want to take my big camera. Anyway we had a lovely time exploring Paris again Saturday I managed to walk just short of 20,000 steps. It was a European Heritage weekend so everything was open house or free. So on Sunday we went to the Chinese Embassy. On Monday we decided to go shopping and up the arch de triumph the views of Paris were good but the rain clouds where impressive and we thunder and lightening but it had cleared up by the time we got to the bottom. The picture of the uniform is what my grandfather wore in the war. We had a 2 day boat pass which is worth getting much nice form of transport. It was good holiday I enjoyed the change of scenery...
